{February} Life in an Instant

PicMonkey Collage FEB

I take so many photographs of my kids. I’ve been trying to take more of the rest of my life lately thanks to Project 52: Stay Awake and as I prepare to teach the first round of Cherish the Wow, a really fun, journaling e-course about cherishing the moments of our lives.

Here’s what’s been happening in my life, what I was loving in February — in photos.

{Starting with the top left and reading left to right.}

1. My girls have been obsessed with maps lately. They carry them around. Hang them in weird places. Study them. This is really quite lovely.

2. Bingo Markers. We’ve had a handful of these markers since my girls were probably 3 years old and they still work, as we learned recently!

3. I’m not very good at Valentines but these turned out cute. They say, “My heart smiles when I see you.” Next year we’ll just give candy like the rest of the kids. : )

4. Snow. I don’t love snow but this view from my kitchen window is always amazing no matter the weather. It’s my favorite spot to stand and look up.

5. My daughter made me this name tag. Pretty awesome, right? Just call me Mommy.

6. My Christmas present/Kitchen work horse. It’s still so pretty and I love seeing it at work. Plus aqua and red … beautiful, right?

7. Noodles and Chopsticks. This was a kid-friendly lunch my girls and their friend enjoyed immensely.

8. A sweet note my daughter wrote to try and be brave about a tooth that must be a world record for the longest a tooth has ever been loose. She did try. She didn’t follow through. It’s OK.

9. This slow day. I had camped out on my bed for two hours. The family eventually joined in the fun. And these sticker people are what came of it. I’ll have to sit down for two hours again soon.

  1. Love the note about the tooth! My son gave me a similar note two weeks ago and it's still traveling with me in my jacket pocket because it was such a sweet moment!
