What does it mean to be Awesomely Awake?
Ultimately, it means different things to different people
But here it means three things:
Peaceful. Playful. And, Present.
What does that really mean?
Our Manifesto says it all:
Each day, we will strive to be peaceful, playful and present. And when we are not, we will be perfectly imperfect.
Peaceful: We believe that our families should live the words of Ghandi and “Be the Change we wish to see in the world.” Peace begins right here, in our own hearts. Awesomely Awake is on a mission to change the world — one family at a time.
Playful: We believe that raising children should be as much fun as it is hard work. We aim to make life fun. Every single day.
Present: We believe that life is complicated enough and that really what we need to do as parents is to be present.
Perfectly Imperfect: We won’t always make the right decisions. We won’t always do the right thing. We won’t always be proud of our actions. But we can accept that we are not perfect and that is perfectly OK.
